THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: Many years ago, my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It was a life changing moment that brought not only emotional challenges but also financial strain. The reality of living on one income while managing costly medical bills and raising two young sons was, at times, overwhelming. For years l struggled to pay the mortgage on my own, whilst handling the many other responsibilities that come with caring for a partner suffering from a debilitating disease, along with working full time in a high powered position. It was a difficult road, but it also opened my eyes to the importance of financial security and the freedom to create a better future, through determination and belief in my own ability.
FACING A FUTURE FULL OF ANXIETY AND WORRY: I often found myself overwhelmed by the weight of financial burdens - credit card bills, mortgage repayments, and all of life's unavoidable expenses. Countless nights were spent sitting wondering and worrying: How would l pay off my house before retirement? How could l retire where l wanted, rather than only where l could afford? I wanted a better life, a brighter outlook, ant the ability to provide my husband with the best care possible. Most importantly l wanted to be in a position where l can help my sons achieve their own financial freedom and security.
DETERMINED TO FIND A SOLUTION: I began searching for answers. I invested in my financial education, starting with the classic, "Rich Dad Poor Dad", a book which opened my eyes to a new way of thinking about money. From there, l devoured books on wealth-building, passive income and online marketing. But along the way, l made mistakes. I invested in opportunities that didn't pan out, lost money and hit roadblocks that left me feeling deflated and depressed.
A BUSINESS MODEL THAT RESONATES: Through my stumbling in the dark, searching for that elusive opportunity to turn my life around, and, to be truthful, nearly giving up in despair, l came upon an advertisement, much like the one you may have seen. It was an opportunity that resonated deeply with me - one backed by support, education and a powerful focus on self-development. This was different! It wasn't just about financial gain; it was about growth, empowerment, and creating a future of true freedom! Now, l'm on a mission - not just for myself, but for others. I want to take people along on this journey to financial independence, helping them unlock their own potential and build a life of security, flexibility, and fulfilment. Because l've learnt that the greatest investment we can make is in ourselves.
